In the era of modern technologies and the rapid expansion of cyberspace, children and adolescents, as sensitive and impressionable groups of society, are the most frequent users of this space, and inappropriate use of it can have widespread negative consequences on their mental health, academic performance, and social life. This research has been conducted with the aim of identifying scientific and practical strategies for parents to reduce the excessive use of cyberspace by children. The results indicate that media and digital literacy education, improvement of coping and emotional management skills, increasing parental awareness regarding technology, effective interaction with schools, and strengthening family connection and participation are among the most important effective strategies in managing children's use of cyberspace. Also, setting precise family rules and frameworks and encouraging non-digital alternative activities lead to creating balance in the lives of children and adolescents and reducing the harms related to cyberspace. These strategies provide a suitable ground for maintaining the mental and social health of the new generation and stabilize the role of parents as the primary factor in controlling and guiding their children's digital activities. The present research is conducted using a descriptive-analytical method and based on library resources.
