"In Islamic culture, prayer (Salat) is the conscious and affectionate connection between human beings and God, and the most significant manifestation of servitude. It is a fundamental act of worship that enlivens the human soul with the remembrance of God, calms the heart, and paves the way for spiritual and moral growth. This research aims to examine the importance of prayer from the perspective of traditions (Hadiths) and to identify effective methods for encouraging youth toward prayer. The research methodology is descriptive-analytical, based on the study of religious sources, the traditions of the Infallibles (peace be upon them), and educational works related to prayer. Findings indicate that in these traditions, prayer is described as the pillar of religion, a means of attaining divine proximity, a deterrent against sin, and a foundation for spiritual peace. Furthermore, inviting the youth to prayer is effective only when accompanied by affection, raising awareness, practical role-modeling, avoiding coercion, and attending to their intellectual and emotional needs. The results suggest that promoting prayer among the youth requires an educational and engaging approach that is compatible with contemporary conditions."
