Faith, as an inner belief and practical commitment to spiritual and ethical principles, plays a prominent role in individual and social life. Strengthening faith, meaning deepening beliefs and translating them into everyday behaviors, can lead to improving the quality of life, reducing conflicts, and creating peace in human relationships. In the family, faith not only acts as a spiritual foundation but also as a factor that strengthens emotional connections among couples and other members. The aim of this article is to examine the impact of faith and religious beliefs on improving the emotional relationships of couples and strengthening the foundation of the family. The article attempts, by analyzing different dimensions of faith and its effects on married life, to show how spiritual values can help reduce conflicts and increase harmony between couples. The research method is descriptive–analytical. The data were collected through library studies, reviewing religious texts and family psychology sources, and analyzing previous research. The results show that shared faith between couples increases trust, intimacy, and mutual respect. Joint spiritual activities such as prayer, worship, and studying religious texts play an important role in reducing conflicts and increasing empathy. Moreover, families with strong faith-based beliefs show greater resilience in facing life’s challenges and difficulties. Therefore, strengthening faith can be proposed as a fundamental approach for reinforcing emotional relationships and strengthening the family. This research emphasizes the importance of teaching spiritual and religious skills to couples.
